If there's any place on the Isle of Skye that sums up how fabulous the island is, it has to the Old Man of Storr!

This fine art print is the result of over an 1hr and half hike/climb/crawl at 45° angles and knee deep snow at times before I reached this spot. I must have been sat here at least an hour, on my own with my flask of coffee - utter bliss and well worth the huge effor to get up here. The accent made so much harder by carrying my huge Gitzo tripod and backback full of gear - a total weight of around 20-22kg.

This is the view from the top of the Old Man of Storr with the Sanctuary, looking out over the sound of raasay - these pinnacles are huge, although they don't look it from the photograph. I have another limited edition fine art print from a different angle which give it some scale.
