Last light on a weathered tree
I decided at the very last minute to have a dash up to mire loch (St Abb's), but on the way, I passed a tree that I photographed a couple of years ago. The field has been full of cattle ever since, but last night it wasn't... a stop was in order!
Shot using a modified Lee SW150 holder and a Formatt-Hitech ProStop 10 IRND, plus Lee 0.6 Hard Grad.
The light at sunset came just at the right time as I started this long exposure and stayed all the way through it, bringing some lovely light onto the bare tree.
This image also supprised me, as it made it onto the prestigous 500px homepage, featured by Digital SLR Photography Magazine on thier Facebook page with over 4000 likes and 175 shares and is also to be featured in the October issue of Photography Monthly.
